I first encountered Alice when I watched a short film called “Amilea”, created by a group of talented filmmakers (I highly recommend giving it a watch). What really drew me to the work Alice creates is the cleanness and beauty behind the visuals on her page. Each image seems to possess a unique story, offering a sense of escapism when you longing for the beach, road trip, or a quiet place to think with just the sound of the sea, or the wildlife to accompany you.

As you scroll through her content you get a glimpse into the life of a filmmaker. Alice travels to remote locations, braves freezing water, and demonstrates the unyielding determination to catch that perfect shot
First of all i want to talk about her style, what’s so great about her work is the authenticity of each image. Every shot celebrates the moment, there is no camera trickery or excessive post-production. Alice's masterful uses the natural environment as its canvas, skillfully placing her subjects within dreamy landscapes, with towering cliff faces, along windy roads and amidst crashing waves in isolated locations. The resulting images evoke a feeling of solitude, as if only Alice and her subject exist in that moment.
Another aspect of her page I appreciate is the reels. Instagram feeds are always curated to showcase a creator's best work, reels allow for more diverse content. Reels have really allowed photographers to show a glimpse into life on set, getting to see some BTS, or sharing a message. It's hard for new photographers to get into the industry, so having people like Alice giving that little insight, sharing knowledge is so important.
One of the main reasons I set this blog up is to put down on paper (digital paper) the people I follow want to work with. I am always limited by the brands I work with, or the briefs that come my way. If you're a brand or a producer that is looking to work with someone who can tell a story, shoot incredibly beautiful films then head over to her page, drop her a message. When
a brief lands on my page where I can work with her, then I'll be picking up the phone.
