I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Andrea on multiple projects, like everyone else in this blog he lives and breathes making content, be it for brands or his personal projects. There is a saying I’m sure I have heard in every agency I’ve worked in: “choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life”. Now I generally love what I do, but for Andrea (and I would say this for a lot of creators I have worked with) this is when the saying really comes true.
I’ve looked at a lot of photographer channels, I mean a lot! What really made me stop and go through the content Andrea creates is the diversity of the content across his channels. If you’re on his Tik Tok channel you’ll find tutorials on shooting techniques, tips, tricks and valuable insights into the world of a constantly- on-the-move content creator. Over on his Instagram channel you can admire his results, as well as an extensive collection of BTS stories of his content and brands he works with. You’ll probably pick up on his slight love for motor bikes as well.
A recurring theme with every creator is the importance of collaboration, and this really comes across with the work Andrea puts out there. Many photographer channels stick to a specific type of content, be it portrait, landscape, wildlife and urban photography, but what's great with Andrea is the variation. His channels are brimming with experimental pieces, collabs, brand assignments and personal projects. One moment he’s shooting under a pier; then next he’s flying drones over remote roads or exploring bustling city streets.
One aspect of working with creators like Andrea is the ability to think on their feet. They are out and about shooting all the time, creating, adapting to the surroundings and situations. This skill is invaluable when you're making content, things don't always go to plan. You need to adapt, what your shooting might not work out how you think. People like Andrea spot those moments, he has a keen eye for spotting the opportunities, transforming unplanned scenarios into captivating content.
