I’ve been lucky enough to work with Mike on a few projects, he is one of those rare unicorns you stumble across. As a creator he lives and breathes content, always armed with a camera and taking advantage of every opportunity.
Mike's love for all things photography and collaboration shines though in his work, so much so that he set up UK Shooters, which has spawned a global community of photographers and video creators. His sell out shooter events give fellow content creators the chance to get together, make amazing content in a unique environment, try out equipment and get together and share knowledge.

His main feed is full of beautifully shot content from his travels or collaborations around the world, ranging from portrait, light painting, amazing landscapes and so much more. It’s when you delve into his reels where you get the insight behind the photos on his main feed, showing how they were shot and the reality of shooting out and about, offering helpful tips and technical insights.
When scrolling through your news feed, if you're wondering how they always get that perfect shot, its about having a different state of mind, pushing themselves to create, never missing an opportunity. While we're sleeping, sitting at home, Mike is out there roaming the streets of London, braving the snow to capture the beauty of London when its empty and untouched. Or they venture out to the coast in the middle of of the night, flying drones to create stunning light paintings that capture the magic of the ocean.
For creators like Mike nothing is too far out of reach to capture that shot, driving hours to find that perfect spot, climbing mountains, braving tough terrain, traveling the world. It's all about honing his craft, telling stories, collaborating and being part of the community.
Collaboration is a huge part of the creator world, it's where I see some of the best ideas and content and this is where Mike excels. Working with his network of creators he always seems to have multiple projects on the go, be it personal, brand or creator collaborations. Seeing how his ideas come together on his own or with his fellow creators is inspiring. If you head over to his YouTube channel you will get even more BTS on his shoots and travels, well worth a visit if you want to get more of an insight into his world.
If you're someone who wants to get into content creation full time his work gives you an insight into the life of a creator who is at the top of their game, but also shows how much work you need to put in. As Mike expands his skill base, taking on new challenges, his work is going to reach greater heights becoming even more proficient at capturing and communicating his vision through the lens. By doing this he will continue to share the work he is making with his community, helping and inspiring people all around the world to get out there and start creating.
For brands Mike offers so much more than just being a content creator. Yes, he can pick up a camera and make you content, but if that's all your asking him to do then your not getting the most out of that partnership. Mike knows what audiences want to see, he is a creative at heart, a director, a social strategist, an influencer. Having that constant communication with his audience and fellow creators gives him a unique insight into the social content world.
If you’re in video production, a producer, client side, creative, anyone in the advertising world then Mike is a must follow. As a brand he can help you make content and give you insights into the creator world. As a photographer or video creator you're going to further your skills, pick up tips and become better in your craft.
Or head over to the shooter network where you’re going to find a huge base of photographers, videographers, creators, all looking to collaborate and further their knowledge. There is nothing to lose getting involved.
